Java Card Implementations
-
Cyberflex from Schlumberger
- CyberflexTM Access is the first commercial smart card
to combine Java programmability and strong cryptography. The card features default
security commands including external and internal authentication using DES, triple
DES or RSA. Programmers can build new secured functions by calling the cryptographic
services available at the Java card API level. These programs, or
CardletsTM, can be digitally signed for on-line
download into the card where their signature is checked before installation in
memory. With 16Kbytes EEPROM, the card offers storage for multiple Cardlets as
well as cryptographic keys and digital certificates.
-
GemXpresso Pro from Gemplus
-
GemXpresso Pro is part of the Gemplus Java Card range. It is the first range of OP-based
Java Cards dedicated to meet the very demanding requirements of multi-application
government & enterprise security programs.
You can access Gemplus Developers
web site.
-
iButton from Dallas/MAXIM
-
The Java-powered iButton adds its complete cryptographic circuitry to a
Java Virtual Machine (VM) that is Java CardTM 2.0-compliant, enabling the
world's large pool of Java programmers to tap into a powerful development tools
to get an application up and running quickly. The Java-powered iButton's
greatest promise lies in its capacity to interact with Internet applications to
support strong remote authentication and remotely authorized financial transactions.
-
SmartCafé from Giesecke & Devrient GmbH
-
G&D’s Sm@rtCafé product line is based on JavaCard technology. Every application is developed
in Java, the standardised programming language, allowing banks and card issuers quick and
uncomplicated implementation of their own smart card applications. This reduces development
costs and shortens time to market.
-
GalactIC from Oberthur
-
Oberthur Card Systems offers GalactIC: a range of smart card products based on Java
TM technology and optimised to support a range of secure applications.
MULTOS Implementations & Development Tools
-
MDS - Development Tools for MULTOS from GTI
-
MDS is the only set of tools you will need to create and debug MULTOS applications and
download them to MULTOS Application Development Cards. MDS is also the only MULTOS
application development system to include facilities to personalise applications and prepare
them for mass issuance.
-
As a member of the MAOSCO consortium, G&D is one of the 'guardians' of the
MULTOSTM specifications.
